TDA is a professional membership organization for dentists, and the 3rd largest state dental association in the US. The TDA is part of a tripartite affiliation with the American Dental Association at the national level, and component societies at the local level. The Association is composed of 26 local component dental societies, grouped into 4 divisions across Texas.

2022 in Review: a Great Year

Thank you for being a part of TDA, ADA, and your local society. As 2022 draws to a close, let’s take a moment to look back at what we’ve accomplished together this year:

  • We welcomed 981 new and/or reactivated member dentists into the TDA community.  
  • We launched our new CE app, the TDA Dental Concierge, and provided more than 3,300 hours of CE to dentists and dental teams.
  • We helped hundreds of Texas dentists with personalized regulatory compliance issues.
  • We gave over 50 dental offices individualized help with third party payor issues, like denied appeals and proper CDT codes.
  • We helped elect 164 out of 170 DENPAC-supported candidates—a 96% success rate.
  • TDA Perks Program saved 400 dentists over $11 million in ERC (Employee Retention Credits) alone.
  • TDA Smiles Foundation & Texas Mission of Mercy, Inc. helped 1,818 patients in need, providing $1,612,630 worth of charitable care.
