It's YOUR dental license. Protect it!

It's YOUR Dental License. Protect It!
March 31, 2021

Your dental license is the most valuable item you have. You must know the law and abide by it. You can’t rely on anyone else to protect your dental license—not your colleagues, not your employer, not anyone else! Sanctions can stay permanently on your record and are accessible by the public for your entire dental career.

This course educates participants about the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, the Dental Practice Act, dental board rules and other mandates relating to dental practice in Texas.

UTH Rx Course - 500x263

Prescribing Controlled Substances Compliance Course
November 19th, 2021
The TSBDE has new requirements for dentists prescribing controlled substances. Now, TDA members can comply with those requirements by taking a CE course from TDA and UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston PACE Center. (Please note: all dentists who provide direct patient care, even if they do not have a DEA registration, must complete 4 hours every 2 years in specific controlled substance CE (22 TAC 104.1(2)(B).)

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve nor endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

TDA designates each educational course for a specified number of CE units.

Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at
