UTH Rx Course - 500x263

Prescribing Controlled Substances Compliance Course
Options: April 16, May 21, July 9, & August 20, 2021 The TSBDE has new requirements for dentists prescribing controlled substances. Now, TDA members can comply with those requirements by taking a CE course from TDA and UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston PACE Center. (Please note: all dentists who provide direct patient care, even if they do not have a DEA registration, must complete 4 hours every 2 years in specific controlled substance CE (22 TAC 104.1(2)(B).)
Dr Art Jeske will teach a series of 6 live-interactive webinars combining all dentists’ controlled substance CE requirements into a single 4-hour course. TSBDE will count the 2 hours of CE required for DEA permit holders towards the 4 hours of CE required for all dentists providing direct patient care starting January 1, 2021. Dentists may also count the 4 hours toward the 24 hours of CE required for biennial license renewal.

It's YOUR dental license. Protect it!

It's YOUR Dental License. Protect It!
March 31, 2021

Your dental license is the most valuable item you have. You must know the law and abide by it. You can’t rely on anyone else to protect your dental license—not your colleagues, not your employer, not anyone else! Sanctions can stay permanently on your record and are accessible by the public for your entire dental career.

This course educates participants about the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, the Dental Practice Act, dental board rules and other mandates relating to dental practice in Texas.
