Texas Dental Association: Helping Every Member Succeed

TDA connects dentists with each other, with patients, and with resources for life and career. TDA is a professional membership organization for dentists, and the 3rd largest state dental association in the US. The TDA is part of a tripartite affiliation with the American Dental Association at the national level, and component societies at the local level. The Association has more than 9,200 members, and is composed of 26 local component dental societies, grouped into 4 divisions across Texas.

Important Update – TDA Central Office

Nov 21, 2025

Effective November 20, 2025, Executive Director Greta Zeimetz is no longer employed by the Texas Dental Association.

Lee Ann Johnson, CAE, will serve as Interim Executive Director during this transition. Ms. Johnson has been with TDA since 2001 and currently serves as Director of Member Services.

In her role, Ms. Johnson oversees all aspects of TDA’s membership recruitment and retention initiatives, communications and marketing efforts, peer review and judicial programs, and the publication of both the Texas Dental Journal and TDA Today. She is also deeply involved in the Association’s daily operations and serves as staff liaison to several key groups, including the Council on Membership, New Dentists and Students, the Task Force on Redistricting, the Relevancy Committee, and the Strategic Affairs Committee.

TDA leadership and staff remain fully engaged and prepared to continue advancing the Association’s important work during this transition.
