TDA Stands in Solidarity with Texas Hill Country Flood Victims

Jul 9, 2025

The Texas Dental Association (TDA) family extends its deepest sympathies and stands in unwavering solidarity with all those affected by the devastating floods that have swept through the Texas Hill Country.

Our hearts are heavy for the families in Kerr, Burnet, San Saba, Travis, and Williamson counties who have tragically lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. What should have been a time of joy has become a time of survival and unimaginable loss for so many of our fellow Texans. We share in the grief and pain felt across these communities.

Beacons of Hope and Gratitude

Amid the devastation, there are stories of resilience that serve as a beacon of hope. We are profoundly thankful for each person who has been found alive.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the heroic first responders and dedicated volunteers. These individuals risk their own safety to save others, tirelessly searching through the floodwaters to bring loved ones home. Their courage and selflessness embody the true spirit of Texas, and we are immensely grateful for their service.

How to Help: A Call for Community Support

As a community, we must now come together to support the recovery and rebuilding efforts. TDA is praying for immediate relief from the rains and for continued strength for all those facing the difficult road ahead.

We encourage every member of our dental community and the public to contribute to the cause that resonates most with them. Below is a list of organizations providing critical, on-the-ground aid to those impacted by the floods.

  • Kerr County Flood Relief Fund: Supporting local recovery efforts in Kerr County.

  • World Central Kitchen: Providing fresh, nourishing meals to those displaced by the floods.

    • Phone: (202) 844-6330

  • Ark of Highland Lakes: Supporting flood relief in Marble Falls, Burnet, and surrounding areas.

  • The Salvation Army: Delivering emergency aid and long-term recovery support to victims.

  • TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue): Assisting authorities with official search and rescue operations.

  • Kerrville Pets Alive: Helping animals displaced and affected by the floods.

  • American Red Cross: Offering shelter, essential supplies, and support to flood victims.

Stronger Together

Together, we will rebuild, heal, and emerge stronger as a community. With love and prayer, the Texas Dental Association stands with you.
