Starting September 10, there is a new method for logging into ADA, TDA and many local society websites.

Before Sept 2, you can update your profile on ada.org ensuring you have a unique email address on your account. After September 10, you will be prompted to enter a unique email address and reset your password. You will no longer use your ADA number to log in.

CLARIFICATION: Office of Inspector General: Common Errors in Sedation and Anesthesia Administration: February 2024 TDA Today

In the February issue of TDA Today, it was noted in the Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) article that, “Baseline and discharge vitals are required by TSBDE rules for nitrous oxide or oxygen inhalation and all levels of sedation.” That is incorrect. The OIG corrected the article to reflect that discharge vitals are not required to be documented for nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation. The corrected bullet now reads, “Baseline vitals are required by TSBDE rules for nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation and all levels of sedation.”
