The fast-paced digital world has taken a hold of dentistry.  Our profession is beyond the ‘want’ phase and has entered the ‘need’ phase when it comes to incorporating digital technology into clinical practice.  From the front to the back of the clinical setting, digital tools are a must for predictability, productivity and ultimately profitability.  We will touch upon the initial intake and practice management software, intraoral scanning, CBCT, milling, 3D printing and much more.

SPEAKER BIO

Chad C. Duplantis, DDS, FAGD
Fort Worth, TX

Dr. Duplantis received his D.D.S. degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dental School in 1999. He then continued with Post-doctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2000. He has also received his Fellowship degree from the Academy of General Dentistry.

He has been in private practice since 2000 in the North Fort Worth, Texas area. In private practice, he treats all ages with an emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Duplantis has been a member of several Aesthetic and Restorative Continuums over the years he has been in practice. He is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Duplantis has always had an interest in “high-tech” dentistry and has been incorporating CAD/CAM and digital technology in his practice since 2004. Dr. Duplantis has written and published several articles regarding digital dentistry and workflows for various dental publications. In addition to technology, Dr. Duplantis has a keen interest in restorative implantology, CBCT, impressioning, adhesion and materials, and he is also published in these regards. He has helped various manufacturers on numerous projects and evaluations regarding different aspects of clinical dentistry and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for several dental corporations. Recently, he co-founded “Dentists IN the Know” which is a social media group to help inform and educate dentists and dental team members.

Dr. Duplantis resides in Keller, Texas with his wife, Ellen, and his children, Austin and Ava. He is a recreational cyclist and enjoys golf and many other outdoor activities in his spare time.

BOOK YOUR ROOM

Guests are able to book online with the direct booking link or by phone with our reservations office by calling 806.776.7000. **They will need to specify the block name of: “TDA Meeting”.

Guests will need to provide a credit card to book their reservation. Nothing is charged to this card unless they no show and forget to cancel their reservation by 4pm one day prior to their stay in the event they need to cancel, as per our 24hr cancellation policy. 

Guests will be asked at check in to provide their ID (name on ID must match reservation) and a credit card to cover their room, tax and incidental charges. The Overton charges a $50.00 incidental hold per night of each guests stay, per room. The hold is released at checkout with final billing as long as no incidental charges were made to the room number. Examples of incidental charges that can be made to the guests room number would be: valet parking fees, room service, bar tabs, gift shop purchases, restaurant meal charges for breakfast, lunch or dinner, in room internet upgrades, movie purchases, amenity deliveries, etc.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Please include the attendee’s name, address, registration badge, and course tickets. All requests must be mailed to: Texas Dental Association, Attn: Cancellation/Refunds, 1946 S. IH-35, Suite 400, Austin, Texas 78704. Refund checks for cancellations made by June 30, 2023 will be mailed within 4 to 6 weeks after the meeting. There is a 20% administrative fee applied to all refunds. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after June 30, 2023.
