In the 2nd course with Dr. Claytor, you will learn how to manage patients' pain responsibly, and communicate about proper use of prescribed opioids for pain.
This course applies toward the 4 TSBDE controlled substances continuing education (CE) hours required for dentists providing direct patient care. Dentists can also apply the CE hours toward the 16 technical and scientific CE hours required for license renewal.
About Dr. Claytor:

Dr. Claytor lectures nationwide on opioids, marijuana, burnout, perfectionism, and addiction. He graduated from the University of North Carolina (Adams) School of Dentistry and completed a two year General Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Heceived the Academy of General Dentistry’s coveted Fellowship and Mastership, and most recently the prestigious AGD Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award. He has also earned a certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Union College. He serves as a Consultant and Board Member of the Dental Well-Being Advisory Committee of the American Dental Association in Chicago.
