This course supplies the 2 TSBDE continuing education (CE) hours in controlled substances required for dentists holding a Drug Enforcement Agency registration to prescribe controlled substances. Dentists can also apply the CE hours toward the 8 CE hours allowed for risk-management each license renewal period.
About Dr. Claytor:
Dr. Claytor lectures nationwide on opioids, marijuana, burnout, perfectionism, and addiction. He graduated from the University of North Carolina (Adams) School of Dentistry and completed a two year General Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Heceived the Academy of General Dentistry’s coveted Fellowship and Mastership, and most recently the prestigious AGD Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award. He has also earned a certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Union College. He serves as a Consultant and Board Member of the Dental Well-Being Advisory Committee of the American Dental Association in Chicago.
