Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, TDA has been with you as we navigate these rapidly changing and uncertain times. For example, TDA’s advocacy directly resulted in Texas dentists safely returning to full dental practice on May 1, 2020.
As dentists across Texas are opening their doors and welcoming back their patients, we have seen the needs of our members substantially shift. Dentists are now focusing on how to practice in this new environment, including acquiring PPE. Recovery is complex, and TDA continues to work on your behalf to ensure that you have what you need so you can do what you do best—provide dental care to your patients.
For example, TDA continues working closely with Governor Abbott and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to secure vital Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for TDA members and all Texas dentists. TDA is extremely grateful for the Governor and TDEM and the incredible work and partnership that has been forged together.
In addition to our advocacy, TDA redesigned its COVID-19 resource webpage to make finding the information you need when you need it easier for you and your team. We understand how important accurate and current information is to you, your team members and your patients.
